Session Fees
An initial 15 minute phone consultation can be scheduled at no charge, to find out if we would be a fit to work together.
Standard sessions are charged at a rate of $165.00 for 55 minutes. The first session is typically 60 to 75 minutes in length (no extra charge).
The session rate for professional clinical consultation sessions is $165.00 for 60 minutes.
Longer sessions will be billed, prorated to the standard session fee. Please inquire about pricing and availability if you wish to book an extended session.
There is no HST charged on psychotherapy services provided by a Registered Social Worker.
Payment Methods
Fees are to be paid before, or at the beginning of the session, and can be made via e-transfer or credit card.
OHIP and Insurance
Unfortunately psychotherapy sessions are not covered by OHIP. However, many extended health care plans cover psychotherapy services provided by registered social workers.
Though direct billing is not offered at Nourishing Change Psychotherapy, you will be provided with a receipt immediately after payment which you can then submit to your insurance company.
Please be sure to check with you insurance provider to determine what coverage you have prior to booking an appointment.
*Psychotherapy is an approved medical expense with the Canada Revenue Agency and can be claimed as such on your income taxes.

Cancellations and Missed Appointments
Please contact me as soon as possible if you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment.
Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, and missed appointments/no-shows will be charged the full standard session fee.
