Whether you are seeking help for yourself, have concerns about a loved one,
or are undecided about reaching out,

I'm glad you found your way here.

If you have been living with an eating disorder, disordered eating patterns, or body-image concerns
you are likely no stranger to how much space this can take up in your life. You might be familiar with that inner critical voice that never seems to leave you alone. Perhaps you find yourself following rigid 'rules' around eating or exercise in an effort to satisfy that inner voice, and to calm the anxiety; rules that can become all-consuming. You might find yourself overcome by urges to eat, followed by overwhelming feelings of shame or hopelessness; a cycle you cannot seem to break. And, as hard as this is, the idea of change can be terrifying.

If you are a caregiver of someone with eating struggles
you have likely experienced feelings of fear, anger, sadness, or guilt. Efforts to discuss your concerns with your loved one might be dismissed, or met with anger. Meal times might be a source of stress, rather than a time for connection. At times, you might feel helpless, and at a complete loss as to what you can do.

For those who are affected by anxiety
you have perhaps experienced how difficult even the smallest tasks or daily activities can be, when self-doubt, the 'what-ifs', fear, or panic take over.

And yet, you don't have to stay 'stuck'. You can live life more joyfully, and with greater self-acceptance.

Meet Cassandra
My name is Cassie, and I am a registered social worker with over 22 years of experience helping youth, adults, and caregivers who are experiencing concerns related to their mental health.
I believe that we are all doing the best we can with the skills we have in this moment, and that we all have the capacity to learn and grow. I also believe that while problems affect us; they do not define us.

I am passionate about helping to empower people to get 'unstuck' from anxiety, and from negative self-perceptions and behaviour patterns that hold them back from the life they want to live.

"One day you will tell your story of how you overcame what you went through, and it will be someone else's survival guide."
